As DST Takes Effect, Some Users Experience iPhone Clock Bug
Instead of moving forward an hour, users told the AP the time on their iPhones fell back, making their iPhones display a time two hours off.
Previously, a bug in the iPhone’s clock prevented alarms from sounding on New Year’s Day, and the phones failed to adjust itself after the last Daylight Savings Time in November last year.
Both AT&T and Verizon phones were affected this time, the AP said.
The news agency said Twitter was “abuzz” with a solution: to either restart the iPhone or switch it to Airplane Mode and then back.
