Fold a 1000 Paper Cranes for Japan
Creative agency Anomaly London has kickstarted a project encouraging people to fold a thousand paper cranes for Japan, referring to the legend that anyone who does so will be granted a wish.
The One Thousand Cranes for Japan micro-site features graphic swatches (see below) created by various artists and designers; for a small two pound (US$3.30) donation, anyone can download the graphics and fold them into paper cranes. Donations will go to the Japan Earthquake and Tsunami Relief Fund.
Anomaly is also encouraging those who donate to post pictures of their finished paper cranes up on its Facebook page.
