Apple to Release iPad 2 in 25 More Countries
Apple announced yesterday it will begin shipping the iPad 2 to 25 more countries this Friday, two weeks after its US release date.
The tablet, which sold up to a million units in its opening weekend in the US, will arrive in Apple retail and online stores in countries like Australia, Canada, Denmark, France and the UK. It will be priced identically to the US version.
“We're experiencing amazing demand for iPad 2 in the US, and customers around the world have told us they can't wait to get their hands on it,” said Apple CEO Steve Jobs in a statement.
Customers in Hong Kong, Singapore and Korea will have to wait until April to get their hands on the tablet.
