Facebook Lets Users Conduct Polls of Their Own
Facebook has today begun rolling out its Questions product to all users, letting them create a poll on any subject with friends as respondents.
Questions was originally launched last Summer, but has a few changes. Now, friends can agree with an existing answer set by the original poster, or they can “add a different response”, wrote product manager Adrian Graham in a blog post. All results will be ranked (see above), along with the profile pictures of friends who answer.
“This makes it easy for many more people to respond to you. It also helps us show the most popular responses,” he added.
The new Questions will also let users ask from outside their pool of friends—friends of friends, and so on—but will be automatically filtered to show first what their immediate friends think.
