Ogilvy Launches China Practice in NYC
Ogilvy & Mather announced today it will be launching its first China Practice in North America aimed at serving both China-based companies looking to expand internationally, and other companies seeking to expand into China.
Located in the agency’s global headquarters in New York, the China Practice will provide investor relations, corporate positioning, branding, marketing and other services “designed to help Chinese companies grow their presence in the US marketplace”, the agency said in a statement.
Currently, Ogilvy is “regularly work[ing]” with Chinese brands in the US to assist in their global development, the agency said. These clients include brands like Lenovo, Air China and the Chengdu Municipal Government.
Companies looking to expand into China can also benefit from the China Practice's advisory services.
“The establishment of a China Practice in New York supports our strategy to identify growing client marketing communication needs and to create dedicated services to meet those needs,” Ogilvy & Mather global CEO Miles Young said in a statement.
