Facebook ‘Like’ Button Turns One
Given its ubiquity, it’s hard to imagine the Facebook ‘Like’ button is only a year old. But a year ago on 21 April, CEO Mark Zuckerberg introduced the button at the F8 developers conference—and the rest, as they say, is history.
In the first week of its introduction, 50,000 websites installed the ‘Like’ button, according to Mashable. Now, the social network claims more than 10,000 new sites are adding the button every day.
