Microsoft’s Hated Paper Clip Back to Star in Video Game
The hated paper clip in Microsoft’s Office suite, Clippy, is back in an instructional game called Ribbon Hero 2: Clippy’s Second Chance. The game, much like Clippy’s original job, is aimed at helping users get around the various Office apps better.
Ribbon Hero 2 is a collection of mini-games that feature Clippy in the starring role; players are supposed to help the paper clip maneuver through time by solving puzzles on how to use Microsoft Office features. For example, a sample game asks a user to resize margins and change a page’s orientation to landscape.
