New York Festivals to Award Agencies by Country
As a companion to its Advertising Agency of the Year, New York Festivals will be launching a similar award that will honor a single agency per country.
The new award was initiated “to allow for large and small agencies with one or more offices in the same country” to compete for the prize. Agencies need to earn two Golds, Silvers and Bronze trophies each to qualify.
This year, while Leo Burnett Sydney took home the ad agency of the year prize, four other agencies took home prizes for their represented country. BBDO earned the ad agency of the year for the US, Forsman & Boedenfors for Sweden, Jung von Matt for Germany, and TBWA for France.
