Potholes, as Seen Through the Eyes of Artists
Instead of traffic hazards they’re usually regarded as, these potholes are imaginatively depicted by Canadian artists Claudia Ficca and Davide Luciano, becoming swimming pools, the rabbit hole in Alice’s universe, and a recess for frying donuts, among others.
Ficca and Luciano conducted their Potholes project in New York City, Los Angeles, Toronto and Montreal, transforming the urban blight into something playful and surreal.
