US Soldiers Tag Iraq’s Walls with Graffiti of War
Over the eight years US troops have been stationed in Iraq, the walls of camps and bases played canvas to graffiti honoring a fallen friend, boasting a unit’s skills or simply longing for home.
The Graffiti of War Project hopes to compile all these images from Iraq to create an “unconventional historical record of this generation’s war”, the project team told Wired.com.
