‘Mad Men’, Banana Republic Collaborate to Launch Fashion Line
Fans of the period drama who’ve always wanted to dress the part can soon do just that. Banana Republic is collaborating with Mad Men to design a men and women fashion line, due out this August.
The clothes will be based on the look of the characters on the Madison Avenue drama, but will be modified to reflect modern sensibilities and fit requirements of current consumers, reports The New York Times.
In all, there are 65 items in the capsule collection, including suits, skirts, hats, coats as well as accessories like hats, bags and jewelry.
To design the series, Banana Republic tapped Mad Men costume designer Janie Bryant, who has worked with the fashion brand’s previous collaborations with the TV series.
You can view the collection in its entirety on New York Magazine.
