Brooklyn-based Brazilian artist Vik Muniz created a meta paper crane mosaic out of more than two million origami cranes.
The origami cranes are originally meant for the Japan earthquake relief: non-profit Bezos Family Foundations pledged to donate US$2 per paper origami crane sent to their Seattle headquarters.
The cranes were made from math homework, hall passes, love letters, Saran wrap, Kleenex, candy wrappers and restaurant menus.
