Comic Book Locations As Travel Destinations
A series of minimalist posters by Chicago-based designer Justin Van Genderen showcases comic book locations in retro style as holiday destinations.
‘Comic Travel Locations’ features Gotham City (Batman), New York’s Daily Bugle (Spiderman), New York’s 4 Freedom Plaza (Fantastic Four), Metropolis (Superman), Neo Tokyo (Akira) and Britain (Captain Britain).
“If superheroes really existed in this world we might see a poster like these in some old travel agency, all tattered hanging on the wall,” Genderen said.
