Pencil Sketches Look Like Photographic Relics
Paul Chiappe’s art looks, at first glance, like blurry, vintage yearbook photos. But they’re not—the Scottish artist sketches them by hand with a pencil.
Each faux photo looks as haunting, nostalgic and realistic as photographic relics. “It’s a very long process,” Chiappe said in an interview with The Scotsman. “The tiny single heads, you do need a magnifying glass to look at them.”
