Lost your remote? With this TV from Haier and NeuroSky, that won’t be a problem—you can control it using just your mind.

The Smart TV is touted as the world’s first brain computer interface television set; it allows users to interact with their TVs with included applications.

Users will have to don a headset, which can detect human brainwave patterns to reveal their mental state. The technology then translates the monitored brainwaves into digital signals that the television can recognize, allowing users to “develop control over their concentration and relaxation abilities through entertainment applications”, NeuroSky said in a statement.

While you won’t be able to flip through channels or turn up the volume by telekinesis, NeuroSky and Haier are looking to further develop their partnership in the consumer electronics market.
