The self-lacing Nike sneakers immortalized by Marty McFly in Back to the Future is now real.

Nike is launching the shoes, dubbed Nike MAG, on eBay on a limited 1,500 run. Prices are astronomical, averaging about US$5,000, but all proceeds will go to The Michael J Fox Foundation for Parkinson’s Research.

While the MAGs won’t tie themselves up, they do come with glowing LED lights, perfect for that retro-future vibe.
