For Summer Campaign, Coke Prints 150 Popular First Names on Bottles
For its ’Share a Coke’ summer campaign in Australia, Coca-Cola is replacing its branding with popular first names in the country.
The 150 most popular first names of the Australian population would be printed on the bottle labels, so that consumers can find their “friends’ and family members’ names to enjoy sharing a Coke together”.
Each of 150 names also have a song written, which can be heard on the Coca-Cola Australia Facebook page.
“Names were chosen to represent a cross section of the Australian population. We used publicly available data to review the most popular names in Australian and ethic representation in Australia to ensure the diversity of our multi-cultural nation was represented appropriately,” a Coke spokesperson said.
For more unusual names, shoppers can create custom cans at Westfield Shopping Centres.
