15-Year-Old Breaks iPad Typing Record

The 15-year-old son of Georgian president Mikheil Saakashvili has broken the previous Guinness World Record for speed typing on the iPad’s onscreen keyboard.

Eduard Saakashvili’s time of 5.26 seconds to type out all the letters in the English alphabet beat Briton Charlie Joseph McDonnell’s 6.31 seconds, set last year, reports Fox News. Saakashvili said in a Georgian TV broadcast he had spent months training for the event.

The feat was accomplished in Georgia’s Batumi resort, and was documented by an observer from Guinness World Records, according to Fox.
