Panasonic Reveals Hair-Washing Robot

At the CEATEC 2011 tech exhibition in Japan, Panasonic revealed a hair-washing robot.

The Shampoo Robot scans the person’s head shape, then uses 24 fingers to wet, shampoo, condition, rinse, massage and dry the person’s hair.

The robot due for commercial release in 2012.
