For Hyundai Ad, Artist Drives a Car to Create Massive Land Art

For its i40, Hyundai created a three-part video campaign that features US artist Jim Denevan creating a massive land-art piece with the car.
The ads showcased Denevan driving the vehicle on a dried up salt lake, Lake Rebecca in central-Western Australia, that’s the size of the small town.
In the video, Denevan explained the story behind the art piece, the distance needed to be covered, and speed precisions required that the i40 assisted with.
Towards the end of the last video, when the art piece was complete and viewed from the air, the design was “a metaphor for the impressive design and function” of Hyundai’s latest addition to their range of cars.
