Sunglasses Get Yarn-Bombed For a Good Cause

Texas-based graffiti artist Knitta (aka artist Magda Sayeg) was commissioned by Sunglass Hut to produce a limited-edition series.

Crafty Knitta would be yarn-bombing Vogue sunglasses frames to produce 100 one-of-a-kind frames, for Sunglass Hut’s Artist Series IV collection.

For each hand-wrapped colorful pair of shades purchased, Sunglass Hut would donate US$30 to OneSight—to make glasses available to those in need but can’t afford.

Each unique pair of woolly sunnies is signed by Knitta, comes with a numbered certificate of authenticity, and costs about US$129.95.
