Seven-foot Tall Gundam Made of Paper

Graphic designer and creative director Taras Lesko made a seven-foot tall Gundam out of paper.

The Gundam was constructed out of 1250 parts and 720 printed pages, weighs 10 pounds, and took Lesko approximately 350 hours to complete.

To create the ultimate papercraft: Lesko photographed a miniature model from all angles to use as a reference; put the photographs into a 3D application where he created a 3D replica of the model; photoshopped textures and graphics for the model; laid out the finished 3D model to create templates; and printed and cut the templates.
