Minecraft addicts can now build on the go, or play with friends as they travel.

Swedish independent video game developer Mojang has finally released the official pocket-edition of indie game, Minecraft.

Minecraft is a virtual sandbox building game, which you can create your own utopia in. Users may build worlds and structures subject to in-game physics.

The app lets users play randomized worlds, multi-player games over a local wireless network, and save multi-player worlds on their phone.

Users can also build with 36 different building blocks.

The app is available at US$6.99 for iPhones, iPod Touches, and iPads, with iOS 4.3 and above.
