How Many Slaves Work For You?
To raise awareness of human trafficking, interactive website Slavery Footprint calculates the number of slaves that work for you—the number of forced laborers that were likely to be involved in creating and manufacturing the products you have.
The survey asks users 11 lifestyle questions, such as: Where do you live? What’s under your roof? What’s on your plate? How much jewelry and electronics you own? And, have you ever paid for sex?
The estimated result of forced laborers is the determined based on the total number of processes used to create the products.
The digital and social campaign was created by Fair Trade Fund Inc.
Users may share their score, and download mobile apps for the campaign.
