Michael Jackson Musical Uses Facebook For Dance Auditions
UK, West End production ‘Thriller Live’, which celebrates the life and career of the King of Pop, Michael Jackson, is holding global dance auditions through Facebook.
To audition, applicants upload a video of them dancing a routine on the Facebook page—that demonstrates technique, tricks, versatility and style.
The most popular 15 applicants—that are voted by visitors—will be considered to audition in London, in front of the show’s creative team, for the production and be part of the worldwide tour next year.
“We are always getting requests from around the world to be part of this amazing show and play a part in keeping Michael Jackson’s legend alive. By harnessing the power of Facebook, we will create a truly open and global audition process to find superstar dancers for this show,” Gary Lloyd, Director & Choreographer said.
