Be Recognized For Creative Excellence, Be Part of CLIO Awards
Like the origin of its name, a Greek mythology—where CLIO was the muse of history, the recorder of great deeds, the proclaimer and celebrator of accomplishments, and a source of inspiration and genius—the CLIO Awards acknowledges current, breakthrough work, and honors powerful forms of communication and its impact on modern culture.
Every year, The CLIO Awards accepts works from various mediums, which include: Interactive, Direct Mail, Content & Contact, Film, Print, Out of Home, Innovative Media, Integrated Campaign, Radio, Design and Public Relations.
Participants may gain exposure and possibly achieve awards, such as: CLIO’s highest honor, Grand CLIO Gold statues, ‘Lifetime Achievement Award’, Network, Agency, Production Company, and Advertiser of the Year awards.
Entries are judged by an average of 115 top creatives from 65 countries. For 2011, these judges included: Faris Yakob, Chairman of MDC Partners, Kirshenbaum Bond Senecal + Partners; Hjalti Karlsson, Chairman of karlssonwilker; Richard Ting, Chairman of R/GA; Erik Vervroegen, Chairman of Goodby, Silverstein & Partners; Grant Parker, Chairman of DDB London; Tony Hertz, Chairman of Hertz:Radio; Rick Russell, Chairman of Final Cut; Sergio Valente, Chairman of DDB Brasil.
The upcoming deadline for entries of this annual competition is 20 January 2012.
