A Photography Collection of Identical Twins

Spanish photographer Maria Zarazua finds and photographs identical twins.

Her photographic project ’Part of you’ aims to show twins as two individual characters, but at the same time share an intimate relationship as genetic carbon copies.

“I’m interested by the small worlds of two different human being that look like one—as if one was the other one’s reflection—not only because of their looks but also by the relationship that ties them together,” Zarazua wrote.

“This project is some sort of alteration of Narcissus’ myth, the twin as a mirror (deforming/deformed) of oneself where you partially recognize yourself and you don’t completely end up liking what you see.”
