Ohio-based photographer Kelly McCollam uses common cooking ingredients to create colorful masterpieces. She’s used salt, spices and food coloring, to constructs textured landscapes.
In her ‘Spice of Life’ series, she recreates classic pieces from her favorite painter, the late Vincent Van Gogh.
“A Dash of Van Gogh”, she calls it.
“I thought I’d pay him homage by doing a few master studies in spices,” McCollam wrote.
