Would The New Proposed Calendar Make Time Rational?
John Hopkins University astronomer and former NASA astrophysicist Richard Conn Henry has collaborated with John Hopkins economist Steve Hanke, to proposed a calendar to replace the Gregorian calendar that would standardize the world’s calendar system.

The Hanke-Henry Permanent Calendar would have 31 days for every third-month of the year, and 30 days for the other eight months. And to account for the leftover time, a whole extra week would be added.

This means that every day of every year of this 364-day calendar would be in the same position of the calendar for all years—whether it is in the previous or upcoming years. The year would proceed with ‘clockwork regularity’.

Henry’s and Hanke’s version of the calendar would be rid of the Gregorian calendar’s leap years and floating dates, would streamline financial operations and make Sunday-only Christmas and New Year’s holidays.
