Walt Disney’s Playdom plans to release 15 free games on Facebook, MySpace, and other social networks.

The first of its games to be released will be Marvel: Avengers Alliance that features superheroes, such as Spiderman, Iron Man, Thor, Captain America and Wolverine.

In the games, players are an agent of SHIELD and have to assemble heroes in the Avengers team.

After assembling a team, users have to train them to unlock their specific abilities and attacks, and lead them to keep New York City safe from an unknown threat.

Players can recruit friends as allies, or challenge each other to face-offs.

The game will soon be available on Facebook.
