Northern California-based filmmaker Jesse Rosten created a parody commercial for Adobé Photoshop as a beauty product, ‘Fotoshop by Adobé’.
The humorous spoof was inspired by beauty product informercials that showed before and after portraits, which to Rosten looked like the same photos just photoshopped.
‘Fotoshop by Adobé’ pokes fun at beauty ads, with clichés and clever tongue-in-cheek commentary on the society’s current unrealistic standards of beauty.
The parody says things such as, “Transform your look the way celebrities do with this beauty industry secret that’s now available for the first time ever”.
“This commercial isn’t real, neither are society’s standards of beauty”, the video’s description says.
