To Fight Pancreatic Cancer, ‘The Steve Jobs Moment Of Silence’
To pay homage to one of history’s greatest inventors and inspire people to fight the disease that took his life, New York advertising agency KNARF released an audio file on iTunes.
‘The Steve Jobs Moment of Silence’ is an eight-second long silent recording, representing the eight years Steve Jobs fought pancreatic cancer.
The silence is to remind its listeners not to forget the man who brought us the Mac, iPod, iPhone and iPad.
The silent track is available on iTunes at US$0.99.
All proceeds would be donated to several pancreatic cancer organizations, such as The Pancreatic Cancer Action Network, The The Lustgarten Foundation, and The Hirshberg Foundation for Pancreatic Cancer Research.
