Street-style photographer Scott Schuman of The Sartorialist and his girlfriend, blogger Garance Doré, have teamed up to curate a collection of images for jeweler Tiffany & Co.’s microsite ‘What Makes Love True’, a “unique guide to matters of the heart”.
The interactive photo-blog ‘Love in Pictures’ features pictures of ‘True Love’ in New York and Paris, from the fashion photography pair.
Snapshots of canoodling couples that the duo spot on the streets the two cities, and Schuman’s and Doré’s handwritten loves notes and belongings, are featured in the online gallery, tagged with romantic one-liners such as: “My heart skips a beat when I catch you staring off, deep in thought.” and “You’re my true love because no one knows me better than you do.”.
Schuman and Doré will be contributing to the site until 23 January 2012.
After the 23rd, viewers may contribute their own photos to the gallery, via Instagram or a special filter app that would soon be available on iTunes—to help define the emotion of ‘true love’.
Instagram users would just have to add a “#truelovepictures” hashtag to their entries.
Photobooths are also set up at Tiffany stores at Fifth Avenue in New York, Old Bond Street in London, and the Ginza boutique in Tokyo, where couples can take shots instore and upload them to the site.
