Los Angeles-based artist and photographer Madeline Schichtel has documented her life in ‘This is What Madeline Did in 2011’ by combining one-second shots taken each day in the past year.

The film chronicles her everyday activities, such as catching a movie to more significant events, like birthday celebrations with her friends.

According to Schichtel, she made the video “as a way to keep [her] usually shy-self active and lift [her] spirits when [she’s] down about work, paying rent, figuring… everything out”.
