Fancy an edible lime-flavoured paper crane? Gelatin artists ‘My Jello Americans’ have folded origami out of jello so that you can eat them.
To create jello origami on your own, they’ve also posted a video tutorial offering a step-by-step guide on how to make these edible craft-delights.
A 4:1 ratio of gelatin to water is first mixed together to create a thick mixture.
Next, a thin layer of the mixture is spread onto cookie sheets that have been laid out on a pan.
The gelatin is then placed inside the fridge to harden for a whole day—after which, it will come right off, ready to be cut and folded into various shapes.
Don’t forget your favourite flavorings and colors too!
