Zurich-based designer Oskar Zieta and his team have developed inflatable steel furniture that comes in chairs, stools and ladders.

Using FIDU—which stands for Frele Innen Druck Umformung (Internal Pressure Forming) technology—two ultra-thin steel sheets are welded together and then inflated by using a bicycle pump to create a 3D shape.

Lightweight and easy to assemble, these toy-looking and playful shapes are also durable.
