South Korean designer Seung Yong Song has created chairs that do more than let you sit but also hide, climb, store and even dry your clothes.

Named ‘Object Collection’, it is a series of chairs made from white birch and other materials.

One chair allows you to dry your clothes while your rock it while another features a long backrest that turns into a bookshelf.

But perhaps the most whimsical of all is the one which comes with a traditional biodegradable paper lantern, allowing you to seek recluse from your surroundings.

Who says chairs are meant just for sitting?
