Scandinavian furniture manufacturer Varier has collaborated with Norwegian creative agency DIST to create furniture fabric designed by the brain.

Employing technology from B-Reel which monitors brain activity, the teams mapped out brainwave activities of a few children performing their favorite tasks on the furniture.

States of the mind like excitement and frustration are then translated into dots and lines and other graphic patterns.

This finally resulted in fabric designs that are most mentally stimulating for children.
