Video-streaming service Hulu has released an original six-part documentary series ‘The Fashion Fund’ that would be aired exclusively on its site.

‘The Fashion Fund’ is unscripted, and follows 10 fashion designers vying to win the annual competition from the Council of Fashion Designers of America (CFDA) and Vogue.

The winner of the competition would win a cash reward of US$300,000 to kick-start his or her career, and professional mentorship.

Hulu plans to roll out a 22-minute episode every Thursday, through 29 February 2012.

The judges on the series—featuring designer and CFDA president Diane von Furstenberg, Vogue Editor-in-Chief Anna Wintour (who appeared in the first 23-minute episode last week), and other fashion industry veterans—will guide and advise finalists over the four-month long competition.
