French-based director Jerome Genevray and copywriter Eric Esculier created a couple of unofficial proactive viral ads for the insecticide brand Baygon.
‘The Dream’ and ‘The Bride’ features good dreams of a man and a woman getting ruined by a mosquito.
In ‘The Dream’, a man dreams of a steamy affair with a woman; and in ‘The Bride’, a woman dreams of getting proposed to.
However, the buzzing of mosquitoes wake them up, as they were reaching the climax of their dreams.
The ads end with the tagline, “Don’t let mosquitoes ruin your nights.”
