San Diego-based design studio Typewriter Boneyard has come up ‘Hardbook Book Lamp’, a hardcover book infused with a light bulb.

Innovative and stylish, the lamp is operated simply by a switch and comes in various book designs.

According to designer Philip Hansen, it takes anywhere from 2-5 hours to source, cut, drill, wire, and seal each book lamp.

This vintage-looking lamp retails for $150.
