Make Your Own Pen
With a hairdryer or oven, and a kit made by Fraser Ross, you can now assemble your own pen.
The Glasgow-based designer created a flat A6-size (the regular size of a postcard) kit made of plywood. Using the parts punched out from the plywood, and a hairdryer or oven to heat-shrink the exterior rubber coating, a pen is the end product.
The ‘DIY pen’ comes in a range of colors, and can be customised. It may be bought from Ross’s Shop for $14.99 pounds.
