In India, Hand-drawn Hollywood Movie Posters Created Using Lithography
Indian artists duo Ramachandraiah and Raju have been hand-drawing Hollywood movie posters for the past 30 years.
They trace movie stills, poster and ads from papers and rework them in a way that will appeal to the Indian audience.
Using an old lithograph press, the 20 inches by 30 inches posters are printed on thin paper and come in only five colors.
Every three hours, a poster is created and then illegally pasted on buildings and highways at night.
You can also commission them to do a poster of your favorite movie—that is, if you happen to be in Bangalore.
