Construction Game For Children Uses Drinking Straws
New York-based visual artist and product designer Patrick Martinez has created a construction game for children using straws called ‘LINX’.
The simple game works by connecting drinking straws together and linking them using connectors that can be shaped to form ‘star’ joints.
The expandable nature of the straws can result in endless structures that fill entire rooms.
The straws are also made using sustainable and biodegradable plastic.
Martinez, who hails from France, created ‘LINX’ because he "wanted a construction game that was cheap, flexible and light".
He hopes to raise enough funds through Kickstarter to launch his product into the market and introduce it to teachers and therapists.
