Beam Technologies has created a non-motorized toothbrush that has a built-in bluetooth to connect to your mobile devices.

The ‘Beam Toothbrush’ is a smart-toothbrush that helps its users to keep track of their brushing habits and monitor their oral hygiene habits.

According to Beam Technologies’ website, “the average person brushes their teeth for only 46 seconds, but is 50% more likely to brush their teeth for a full two minutes by using just a simple timer”.

With the Beam Toothbrush app, which users may purchase on iTunes, users can sync their brushing timings automatically every time they finish brushing.

The app can track up to four tooth brushes on one device, and would also display graphical analysis of its users brushing durations throughout the week, according to Los Angeles Times.

The Los Angeles Times also reported that Beam Toothbrush is expected to costs US$50, with each brush head at $3 each.
