Astronaut Builds LEGO Space Station On Board Actual Space Station

Japanese astronaut Satoshi Furukawa has built a LEGO model of the International Space Station (ISS) while aboard the actual space station.

It took Furukawa just two hours to build the model that he pieced together inside a glovebox with microgravity, which allowed him more control over the LEGO bricks.

“The ISS was put in space, piece by piece,” says Furukawa in a video. “It’s very similar to how you put together LEGO bricks on Earth”.
