Starbucks Opens Its First Juice Bar
Starbucks has moved beyond just selling coffee by opening its first juice bar under its newest brand ‘Evolution Fresh’, in Bellevue, Washington.
The first Starbucks non-coffee store is aimed at health-conscious customers, offering juices made via high-pressure processing–which is said to retain more of the flavor, nutrients and vitamins, of raw fruits and vegetables.
The menu also offers wraps, salads and soups, alongside other items catered to vegan and vegetarian lifestyles.
In November, the Seattle-based company bought the 'Evolution Fresh' juice brand for US$30 million.
It now plans to stock Evolution Fresh juices at its coffee locations later this year.
The company seems to be on an experimental roll lately, from coffee labs, to all-wood interiors, espresso machines and now fruit juices.
What’s next, we wonder?
