'Mad Men' Opening Credits Redesigned

Illustrator Paul Rogers was thinking about adding “some motion pieces” to his portfolio—so he tried redesigning the opening credits for Mad Men.

“I enjoy the show, but the titles have bugged me from the start,” Rogers said. “It seemed to me that they missed an opportunity for a good update of classic film and television titles from the early sixties.”

So as a personal pet project, he morphed Mad Men’s opening credits and added his personal touch to it.

The video is still rough and its timing still needs a bit of tweaking, but Rogers did it all in the name of fun.
