Phone Case Mounts To Your Bike, Protects While You Ride

Urban cycling gear specialist BioLogic has created a case for iPhones and Android smartphones that attaches to your bike handlebar.

The ‘BioLogic Bike Mount’ is a completely-covered, waterproof, hard-shell case with a touch-sensitive membrane—that keeps your phone protected from the weather, sweat, grime, scratches and shock, but still keeps it fully functional as you ride.

The mount can pivot 360-degrees so the phone can be viewed in both portrait or landscape mode, depending on the users’ preference—coming in handy when in need of a GPS or in use of an app.

The case has an inner lining of silicone for shock resistance, and it is has a clear protection for the front and rear lenses—so you can take videos or pictures while riding (or even FaceTime?).

BioLogic Bike Mount for iPhone and is compatible with iPhone 4 and 4S, 3G and 3GS (with a silicone liner that’s sold separately).

And BioLogic Bike Mount for Android is compatible the phones Samsung Galaxy SII / Samsung Galaxy S, HTC Desire HD / HTC EVO 4G / HTC Inspire 4G / HTC Sensation, and LG Optimus 2X, with the appropriate liners that are sold separately.

The mounts fit handlebars and stems of bicycles that are 1.5-inches (38mm) in diameter or less, and retails at a price of US$50.

For now, only the iPhone version is available—but the Android version will be out next month, just in time for Bike Month!
