Designer Creates Chair Out Of Living Trees
Berlin-based designer Werner Aisslinger has created a chair out of a living tree.
Showcased at this year’s Milan Design Week, the ‘Farm Chair’ is made out of a living plant that is growing into a specialized shape set by a steel mold.
When the mold is removed, the chair retains its shape. Aisslinger’s design shows how furniture can be made from sustainable products to eliminate waste.
